Leveling the Field
In the Leveling the Field Podcast I plan to dive deep into different topics related to university sports including funding, equity, discrimination, sexism, mental health, and academic support. Throughout the podcast, I search for answers to the following questions: What are the benefits of having students in athletics while pursuing their degrees? What elements of post-secondary education create barriers for students to be successful in athletics? How can we give marginalized individuals equal opportunities in university athletics? By combining previous research and discussing topics with a guest who has first-hand experience, I will find answers to these questions.
